Thanks to all who have supported us with Boogiezone NEW ZEALAND'S opening year in 2008. There are definitely more exciting workshops & dance events happening this 2009 so always watch this space and also www.boogiezone.com so your "IN" with the news!!
Here are the latest videos from the last Boogiezone NZ Workshop last November at DREAM'08.
TRiPLe8FuNk's well-anticipated 2008 End Of Year show had everyone at the edge of their seats as the group once again pulled off a great performance. "Bond.008" held on the 10th & 11th of October at the Dorothy Winstone Theatre in Auckland, was a street dance remake of the well-known James Bond narrative. This was T8F's 9th concert since they started back in 2000.

The show was also part of the TEMPO'08 Dance Festival which included over 100 performances and workshops in all dance forms from contemporary to ballroom, from tap to HipHop and many others. During the festival, T8F was also involved in teaching a couple of dance workshops for the youth and also did The Kids' Show with their junior team LiL FuNk as one of the main features.
"Bond.008" received some nominations including 'Best Youth Choreography', 'Best Youth Performer' (for Chris Ofanoa), and 'Best Performance with an International Flavour' (for Kaz Iguchi). The show also earned high praise from the festival critics! CLICK HERE TO READ TEMPO's REVIEW FOR "BOND.008"

T8F would like to thank everyone in the public who has shown their support for this event. Shows like this would not be success without people like you to support and watch it. Our most heart felt gratitude to all of you!!
DVDs of the show will be available in the next few months - so watch this space. And since the show has impressed many, "BOND.008" will be sent to Te Papa, Wellington for a full production during The Chinese Festival on 7th FEB 2009. So if you're in Wellington, watch out for this!!

DEADLY SINS Concert - SOLD OUT!!
On the 4th & 5th of April, TRiPLe8FuNk Dance Company and The Company of University Dancers (CUDZ) brought to you 'DEADLY SINS' which was by far their best dance concert ever. It was held at the Maidment Theatre with both nights SOLD OUT and people lining up for more tickets. The show had an amazing feedback review with audiences raving about it after having seen the show.
The show was about a sinner going through a life of sin and having to resolve that as the plot progresses. It was mainly filled with street dance and hip hop choreography but nevertheless featured some other forms of dance elegance such as a contemporary dance piece as the group showcased their wide range of dance vocabulary. The show also featured Fusion Dance Academy, which is currently the dance team champions in the Waikato Region.
'DEADLY SINS' is the company's 8th dance concert since 2003 when they started building their reputation as one of the best dance companies to create street dance shows throughout the nation.
'DEADLY SINS' almost had about a hundred performers and all thrilled after the show...
The team would like to thank all of you who came to the show! We know many of you are anticipating our next show... It will be in October 2008 in conjunction with Tempo'08 Dance Festival so always check out our website for updates.
